QRCode utile ou gadget?

Pour faire suite à un article que j’avais fait en 2008 sur les QRCodes je souhaiterais vous parler de son utilisation grandissante.

Pourquoi le QRCode surpasse tous les autres codes 2D?

  1. Le QRcode est internationalement libre et tout le monde peut générer son propre QRCode. La plupart des téléphones mobiles lisent ce QRCode comme dernièrement la version Mango du WP7 qui intègre nativement un lecteur de QRCode. De nombreuses applications sur les Iphones, Androïd et Windows Phone 7 intègrent les scanneurs de ce QRCode.
  2. De nombreuses informations sont mémorisables dans ce QRCode voir dernier article
  3. Il peut être customisé et beaucoup de QRCode commencent à se fondre dans la mise en page.

Microsoft Tag : encore un code 2D!

Je viens de découvrir le Microsoft Tag.  En temps que développeur des technologies Microsoft j’ai pu consulter le guide pour concevoir ce type de tag très intéressant et se démarquant de son aspect de tous les autres tags tel que le QRCode ou le Datamatrix.

Entre autre les premiers points sont : son utilisation des couleurs et du noir et blanc

OLVANI_WEBSITE_201111261171Celui ci contient OLVANI WEBSITE en libellé et son adresse web : www.olvani.com

Est également défini une période de validité et une vignette qui s’affiche à la place du code 2D

 

 

L’autre point est l’affichage d’un libellé ici “OLVANI WEBSITE” à la place de l’url et une vignette qui peut être son logo.

Ping service : A quoi cela sert?

En réseau : le ping est une commande qui permet de savoir si le serveur ciblé est disponible et à quel vitesse ce dernier répond.

Explication

Le ping service de la même façon envoi une notification de façon automatique ou manuelle à un service pour lui indiquer qu’ un message ou article vient d’ être publié.

Simplement votre site utilise une adresse web sous un protocole spécifique appelé RDP, protocole également utilisé par la technologie Terminal Serveur de Microsoft.

Conseils sur son utilisation
  1. Par exemple quand vous utilisez pingomatic vous notifiez ce site d’ un nouvel article et ce dernier va notifier à son tour d’ autres sites soit une 20aines donc attention à ne pas mettre des urls en double. Ce service est implémenté sur quasiment tous les Blog comme WordPress, BlogEngine, DotClear, …
  2. Attention : quand vous publiez un article, si le ping est actif, votre article sera récupéré donc soyez sûr de son texte, même si vous pouvez le modifier par la suite
